I did a prelim count of those attending the shoot this year. As of now there are 19 definite, and 7 maybe's.

During the recon trip with BuckeyeTexan & NYTexan we discussed "eating" plans.

For those showing up Thursday, we need to try out Marco's Italian Restaurant.

Friday breakfast we can either cook at the cottages or head to Wimberely Cafe - keep in mind this will be the start of Summer Season & most places will be packed.

Friday & Saturday nights we can cook at in the common area of the cottages ~ Friday night have burgers & hot dogs; Saturday night have tons & lots of appetizers.

Of course Saturday we have reservations at Granny D's in Canyon Lake at 8:00 a.m.

The Tex-Mex place has open air seating on a deck. Might be nicer.

Really think Wimberley Square is gonna be a cluster...

The whole area will be a cluster, which is why we need to make reservations for Thursday night dinner ~ where ever that may be.

Parking will be the biggest problem at the square.

Choose a few places and poll the tards...

This morning I reserved the common area for Friday & Saturday nights.

Albert (one of the owners) said that if our group did not rent all the cottages it would cost $150/night; if we did rent all the cottages, that $150 would be considered a deposit.

If we don't rent out the remaining cottages by the end of April I will cancel the common area reservations. I could collect $$ from everyone to pay for it, but that would be a pain in my butt.

We have confirmation that the Robinson crew will be, again, coming to the shoot.

This is going to be great again!

Wee Pooper (Kitty) really looks forward to the shoots and points it out to the other pups that they just need to be blind and to get the diabetes and they will get to go.

Spoke with Albert at the cottages today.

Asked him to build a temporary ramp for #10 so Jim & sheila could get up to the deck. He said he would see what his guys could do.

If that doesn't happen by the time I call again a week before we get there, I'll need someone to bring a circular saw. I've got a piece of 3/4" plywood ta get the job done.
